Functieomschrijving
For a company located in Hoogstraten we are looking for an Global Trade Compliance Analyst. The Business has grown considerably in sales and is still expected to grow in the coming years. This means that the number of orders received from our customers (distributors) is growing rapidly tohgether with the export license requests for the customers that are located in Asia, Middle East, Europe, Africa and Amerika.
In order to be able to deliver the export controlled orders on time we require person to assist the GTC Analyst with day-to-day export license activities. The main activities of this person are:
- Back-up for the GTC Analyst in case of absence;
- Make day to day export license decisions with the allowed GTC framework for the position
- Explain and request export license documentation to the customer
- Communicate expected lead time to the customer
- Announce license approvals and request Conditions Acceptance Documents or confirmation that the conditions of the licenses are accepted by the customer and the end user.
- Gather documentation required by the Belgium Authorities for the shipments that are made against Global Permit (especially the service global permit)
- Request import certifications from customers within 2 months after the export of the goods takes place and send it to the Belgium Authorities.
- Enter export license request in ELMs(export license database)
- Revise orders with export statements and export license request numbers in SAP
- Keep electronic records of the export license applications and the export licenses.
- Responsible for the shipments of demonstration units to trade shows and exhibitions
- Responsible for the ATA Carnets (request and return of the ATA Carnet at the Chamber of Commerce)
- Responsible for the Certificate of Origin
Profiel
Bacherlor degree in logistics. We definitly need a person with a good export and import background and good on administration process.
Languages: English and Dutch fluently
Good knowledde of MS Office and SAP
Proactive, organized, accurate, ( accuracy over speed), eagerness to learn comitted to the job, flexible, not a 9 to 5 mentality, communicative, responsible, person with initiative, capable to solve problems, friendly person able to build a good relationship with and can handle stress.
